The Opportunity

Own the quality assurance standard across multiple workstreams. You’ll design pragmatic test strategies, accelerate high‑confidence releases, and champion quality engineering at scale. You will work closely with the Lead Developers and engineering teams to ensure solutions are robust, secure, and aligned to organisational goals. The successful candidate is expected to operate as the testing authority within the team - establishing best practices, maturing automation strategies, and ensuring high‑quality outcomes across all deliverables.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop Test Strategies: Contribute to the Group test strategy outlining the approach, objectives, scope, techniques and resources needed.

• Test Plans: Write test plans and create test cases for various products within the Group. Conduct QA, Integration and Performance tests in line with delivery expectations.

• Lead QA Delivery: Take charge of end-to-end test delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring all testing activities are planned, executed, and completed on schedule. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to guarantee that testing aligns with project requirements and delivers high-quality outcomes.

• Define the testing standards across multiple projects. Establish test approaches that support rapid, incremental delivery, including functional, non‑functional, exploratory, regression, performance, and security testing.

• Automation Engineering: Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing. Evaluate feasibility of automation early in the design phase.

• Reporting: Provide comprehensive output detailing performance of the team as well as defect levels and application quality.

• QA Execution: Manage test execution across multiple projects, ensuring the testing process follows the test plan.

• Quality Engineering: Advocate for quality across the entire software development lifecycle. Drive shift‑left practices, ensuring defects are prevented early through design reviews, code quality, and testability improvements.

Essential Skills & Tech Stack

• 5+ years QA experience.

• Experience working as a QA lead in multi‑discipline teams.

• Expertise in Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman/Newman, Azure DevOps.

• Good understanding of .NET, React, SQL, Azure.

• Experience in integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
