K3 Tax Advisory Intern
Are you in your penultimate year of University and on track for a 2:1? If you feel a career in Tax might be of interest, we would love to consider you for our Summer Intern Programme 2026.
About K3 Tax Advisory and the K3 Capital Group
K3 Tax Advisory offers strategic tax advisory and planning services to clients undertaking complex transactions and planning in order to mitigate tax risk and maximise their value. Our team is comprised of highly experienced Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers, who provide a robust range of tax advisory services. We act for owner managed businesses, private equity backed structures and corporates operating in the UK and internationally.
We are committed to a fully remote working model, allowing you to work from the location that suits you – with the option to use office space across the UK, if you prefer.
We are keen to attract, develop, and retain early-career talent through our structured Internship Programme, which acts as the primary pathway into our Graduate Programme.
K3 Capital Group (of which K3 Tax Advisory is a part) is a market-leading professional services group, providing high quality advice across Business Sales, Tax, Restructuring, Technology Solutions, and Financial Services.
About the Internship Programme
Running for six, four-day (Monday to Thursday) weeks over the summer, our paid summer internship program offers you the chance to get an insight into the tax profession and work alongside our experienced tax staff on real client work.
The world of tax is constantly changing, and the work you will do will help our clients understand and deal with their tax affairs and make significant business decisions.
As an intern you will be guided by a dedicated buddy, who will help ensure that your time with us is both productive and interesting.
Key features of the programme include:
• Induction: You will spend the early part of week 1 in London. You will have an general induction with the other interns within the K3 Capital Group – giving you a chance to build connections. You will spend some time with staff from K3TA receiving basic training in the software you will be using throughout the next six weeks, to ensure you are able to work on real client tasks. Your buddy will also meet with you to help you set some objectives for your time with us.
• Core Experience: You will work on client assignments with K3TA staff. You will be undertaking work that we would expect a first year graduate trainee to be working on, to give you experience of what a graduate role looks like with us. You will be given a dedicated mentor who will help you along the way. They will support you in achieving the objectives you set in Week 1. You will also work on your final presentation.
• Shared Modules: You will undertake modules on professional skills, networking, and wellbeing with your fellow interns across the group.
• Wrap-Up: Before your internship ends, you will present your final presentation and have a final interview. This interview will take into account the feedback you receive during your internship.
• After Your Internship: If you decide that you wish to pursue a career in tax, we may offer you a place on our three-year Graduate Programme for the following year (conditional on getting a 2:1 degree). We try to let you know as soon as possible after completing your internship.
